Usually the last Friday of the month. Free social event for lovers of poetry, flash fiction and creative writing of all kinds. Bring your own work to share, a favourite piece to read, or just come to listen. Everyone welcome. Tea, coffee and treats provided.

A visit by children's authors and illustrators.

Laureate na nÓg, Patricia Forde, is leading a creative roadshow around Ireland and on Monday 22 April will be visiting Ennistymon! Children’s authors and book illustrators will be running events in the library, Scoil Mhainchín and Banner Books. Children and adults are very welcome to come and meet the roadshow at Banner Books, on Monday between 2 and 3 o’clock, to chat to the authors and illustrators and get books

signed. The visitors will be: Patricia Forde, Niamh Sharkey, Dave Rudden, Paddy Donnelly, Meabh McDonnell, Tristan Rosenstock and Shane Hegarty.
